Update at 3:43pm: Union County officials have canceled the Silver Alert issued for 68-year-old Ernice Bivens.
INDIAN TRAIL, NC — Officials have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 68-year-old Union County man.
According to officials, Ernice Bivens was last seen on on Idlewild Trail. He is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Bivens is described as being a black male, 5’4″, 175lbs, short grey hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black or blue shoes.
