Wanted Rowan County Woman Found Concealing Drugs In Genitals

SALISBURY, N.C. — A wanted Rowan County woman has been arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium and Child Abuse following a traffic stop in Salisbury.

Reports say on Monday, October 17, 31-year-old Jamie Dawn Agee of Granite Quarry, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by Rowan County Sheriffs.

During the stop, Agee was determined to have outstanding warrants for Selling or Delivering Opana and Intent to Sell Or Deliver Opana as a result of an undercover transaction with deputies on April 20, 2016.

A search of Agee yielded a tube containing 75, ten milligram, Oxycodone tablets that Agee had concealed inside her genital area.

Officers also discovered that Agee gave her 10-year-old daughter a tube containing 23, ten milligram, Oxycodone, as well as $587 in cash.

Agee was charged with Trafficking Opium by Transportation and Possession, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Misdemeanor Child Abuse and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Her bond was set at $100,000.

Agee was on supervised probation for 12 months stemming from a conviction for misdemeanor larceny on January 14, 2016.   She is facing a pending probation violation charge.
