Victim Identified In Rock Hill Homicide

Update: The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of Monday morning’s homicide as 31-year-old Michael Tyson Dilda.

The Coroner says Dilda died from a gunshot wound, and that toxicology and autopsy results are still pending.

The investigation is ongoing.

ROCK HILL, SC — York County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating after a man was found shot to death Monday morning.

Deputies say they responded to a shooting call around 10:25am on Oleen Cove Road in Rock Hill. When they arrived they found one man dead from gunshots. The victim’s name is not being released at this time.

According to detectives, a person of interest is being questioned, but no charges have been filed.

Officials say this is an ongoing investigation.
