CHESTERFIELD, SC — Officials say the director, owner, and counselor for a women’s drug rehab center has been charged with sexually assaulting clients.
According to officials, on Wednesday five of the female clients at Givebac Ace Camp left and called deputies to report sexual assaults that were taking place at the rehab center. Two women told authorities about two separate sexual assaults that had taken place about a week ago. One of those women also said she was assaulted again Wednesday morning.
After an investigation into the claims deputies arrested Jeffery McClain Wednesday night and charged him with Third Degree Sex/Criminal Sexual Conduct.
Officials say deputies responded to a general information complaint against McClain back in 2005, but no charges were filed.
McClain is the owner, director, and counselor at the center that provides rehabilitation for women suffering from alcohol and drug addiction.
