CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Troopers say poor lighting may be to blame for a deadly crash on I-85 at Little Rock Road.
A truck driver got out of his rig to help out at a crash scene and was hit and killed by another truck around 3am Friday morning, according to officials.
Two other people involved in the accidents have serious injuries. No other details have been provided at this time.
Part of I-85 was shut down while crews investigated.
