CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a child was hit while riding a bicycle in northwest Charlotte.
The accident happened around 6pm Monday at Dunn Commons Parkway and Rozzelles Ferry Road. When officers arrived they found a child suffering from potentially life threatening injuries. Medic transported the child to CMC for treatment.
Police say at this time they do not have much information regarding who was at fault, exact cause, child’s age, whether the child had on a helmet, or if any charges will be filed.
The vehicle involved did remain on scene, according to officials. The investigation is ongoing.
