SALISBURY, NC — Police say a 13-year-old was airlifted Monday night after being hit by a car on Harrison Road.
Police say they believe the victim and two other people were skateboarding when the victim was hit, though it is not know whether the victim was on a skateboard at the time.
The driver was in a gold buick and did remain on the scene, according to officials.
The teen was airlifted with torso, leg, and possible head injuries.
