Homicide Investigation Underway In North Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating a homicide in north Charlotte after a woman was shot.
Medic says the woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Police say the shooting happened around 3:22pm on the 900 block of North Tryon Street, and investigators believe the victim and suspect did know each other.
The area of Tryon between I-277 and Dalton Avenue is closed while police investigate. Drivers can use Graham or Davidson as alternates.
