CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating after a homeowner fired shots at suspects breaking into their home.
Police say a breaking and entering call came in shortly after 9:30pm Friday on Osprey Drive. Investigators say it appears that the homeowner shot at the suspects breaking in and possibly hit one.
According to investigators, the parties involved are known to each other.
The investigation is ongoing.
