CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is looking for an armed robbery suspect near the Northlake Mall area.
According to police, a robbery occurred on Julia Lee Court off of Reames Road Monday evening. Police say the robbery was not random, but rather a case of two people meeting to buy/sell goods, not drugs. No injuries were reported from the incident.
K-9 and helicopter units searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male with “colorful” shorts, 5’8, medium build, white t-shirt. Officials also say the suspect is armed with a gun.
