CHARLOTTE, NC (CNN) — The start of the holiday shopping season seems to get earlier every year. It makes sense – because the holidays make big bucks for stores. Major retailers have already started promoting Black Friday deals that you can get now.
Holiday gift sales in November and December are expected to top $55B this year, according to a National Retail Federation Survey
That means the average person will spend about $935 on gifts, food, flowers, and everything else needed to deck the halls.
You can start seeing savings now if you want to beat that Black Friday rush.
Walmart launched its complete holiday gift guide featuring sale prices on items like televisions and Barbie’s Dreamhouse. Black Friday deals are already underway on Amazon on things like clothes, electronics, and toys. The site will have new deals everyday, sometimes only lasting five minutes, until Dec. 22.
