CHARLOTTE, NC– A hit and run has left one man dead late Thursday evening.
Police say that the victim Nga Nguyen, 49, was driving a moped down Eastway Drive when he was struck by an SUV that was attempting a turn onto the road.
The driver of the SUV, Lecostia Patterson, 30, quickly fled the scene and was later found on Camrose Drive and charged with felony death by motor vehicle and felony hit and run.
