Rising Weighs in on Losing Friends to Campaign 2016
CHARLOTTE, NC —Β Β Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been tough on each other, but Campaign 2016 has also been rough on relationships.
A Monmouth University poll shows at least seven percent of people lost a friendship over the election.
One voter says: “If I lose friends over Trump, so be it.”
Another: “I lied about voting for Clinton. My girlfriend would leave me if she found out.”
