Winthrop Softball Team Visits Patient At Levine Children’s Hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Winthrop University softball team is giving back by visiting a 10-year-old softball player that has been in Levine Children’s Hospital for several weeks.

Annslee Hoyle was rushed to the hospital after having a brain aneurysm. Β She had two blood clots on the brain caused by a ruptured AVM. Β She has had four surgeries since October 25th.

Hoyle plays on two softball teams based out of York, South Carolina. Β Players from the Winthrop softball team have been visiting Hoyle, in Charlotte, regularly and sending her videos of encouragement.

A fund to help pay for Hoyle’s hospital bills has been set up by her family. Β You can view it HERE.
