Winthrop Softball Team Visits Patient At Levine Children’s Hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Winthrop University softball team is giving back by visiting a 10-year-old softball player that has been in Levine Children’s Hospital for several weeks.

Annslee Hoyle was rushed to the hospital after having a brain aneurysm.  She had two blood clots on the brain caused by a ruptured AVM.  She has had four surgeries since October 25th.

Hoyle plays on two softball teams based out of York, South Carolina.  Players from the Winthrop softball team have been visiting Hoyle, in Charlotte, regularly and sending her videos of encouragement.
