ATF Offering Up To $10,000 Reward For Information On South End Arson Case

UPDATE: On Tuesday the ATF announced they will be offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information on the fire that destroyed the Central Living at Carson Townhomes construction site overnight on Monday.

An investigation conducted by the ATF and Charlotte Fire Department determined that the fire was intentionally set.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the ATF at 1-800-ATF-FIRE or by visiting www.reportit.com or through the mobile β€œreportit” app. Officials say all calls will be kept confidential.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials say the massive three-alarm fire that happened in South End overnight was intentionally set.

The fire at a town home construction site damaged the top section of the building with estimates around $3,000,000. No injuries were reported.

The building is located off East Carson Boulevard between South Tryon Street and South Boulevard.

Anyone with video or information on how this fire was started is asked to call 911 immediately.
