MORGANTON, NC — A Burke County man suspected of stealing multiple vehicles throughout Caldwell County has been arrested.
Deputies say information received Sunday about a red pickup truck believed to have been involved in multiple crimes throughout the county led them to 38-year-old Brandon Pendley. Pendley was the suspect in numerous cases of vehicles in Caldwell County being stolen last week, according to reports. Officials say three of those vehicles have been found in Burke County since Friday afternoon.
Deputies found Pendley and two other people after serving warrants at his home on McDowell Church Road. Pendley was arrested and charged with Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle and Felony Possession Stolen Motor Vehicle in Caldwell County.
Officials say several crimes are still under investigation in connection to Pendley and the red pickup, and additional charges and arrests are pending.
