HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Officials confirm that two people have died following a serious accident Friday afternoon.
The accident happened on Old Statesville Road at Sam Furr Road around 3:30pm. Multiple emergency personnel are responding to the area.
Medic says two patients were pronounced dead on arrival, while one was taken to CMC with life threatening injuries and another was taken to Novant Huntersville with minor injuries.
Officials say traffic is moving through that area, but drivers may want to use an alternate route to avoid any delays.
