SWAT Situation In North Charlotte Ends Peacefully

CHARLOTTE – N.C. – CMPD has released the names of the three suspects involved in the SWAT incident from Friday night. Daquan Erwin, 17, Vaque Davis, 18, and a 15-year-old juvenile were charged in connection with the SWAT incident.
Police say that all three of the suspects were charged with Possession of Stolen Firearms and were also served with warrants related to other cases. Erwin and Davis were charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Erwin and the juvenile were charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

UPDATE at 10:20pm: Officials say the SWAT situation has ended peacefully. Three suspects have been taken into custody.

UPDATE at 9:42pm: A police source now tells WCCB that there are believed to be three suspects barricaded inside the room.
The standoff began when officers located a vehicle believed to have been used in the burglary at Bass Pro, according to the source.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say a SWAT situation is underway in north Charlotte after a person barricaded themselves inside a room at the Days In on West Sugar Creek Road.
A police source tells WCCB that the situation is believed to be related to the burglary at the Bass Pro Shop store at Concord Mills. Someone broke into the store on Thursday and stole several guns.
