CHARLOTTE, NC — The Carolina Panthers will celebrate the beginning of the holiday season by hosting the third-annual Carolina Panthers tree lighting on Wednesday, November 23rd.
The event is free of charge and will take place on the corner of Mint and Graham Streets outside of Bank of America Stadium from 6-7:30pm.
According to a release sent out Monday, fans will be able to enjoy performances by Stephanie Streater and Carmelo Smith of Sol Fusion, the UNCC Faculty Brass Quintet, and of course appearances by the TopCats, PurrCussion, and Sir Purr. There will also be activities for the whole family including holiday music, a special visit from Santa Claus, and children’s activities. The event will be topped off by the lighting of a 55-foot tall Norway Spruce harvested in Banner Elk, NC.
There will also be food, drinks, and hot chocolate available for purchase.
