Police Charge Charlotte Teen with Bass Pro Shop Burglary

Concord N.C. – Concord police have charged Charlotte resident Daquan Amad Erwin with the burglary of the Bass Pro Shop in Concord Mills that occurred on November 17, 2016.

Erwin, age 17, was taken into custody on Friday, November 18, 2016 by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department following a SWAT situation at the Days Inn in the 1400 block of W Sugar Creek Road.  Concord Police had issued warrants for Erwin’s arrest the prior day for The Bass Pro burglary. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have also charged Erwin for unrelated offenses.

Concord Police have charged Erwin with one count of felony breaking and entering and eight counts of felony larceny of a firearm. However, Concord Police are still working to identify others that may have been involved in the burglary of the Bass Pro Shop with Erwin.
