CHARLOTTE, NC — Investigators with the Charlotte Fire Department are working to figure out what caused a fire to break out at a commercial building in north Charlotte Tuesday evening.
The fire started around 6:45pm at Birmingham Hardwood Flooring on Statesville Road. A fire official on scene says that crews battled heavy smoke, but the damage was mostly limited to the inside of the building.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
