Busy Christmas Tree Sales Expected This Weekend

CHARLOTTE, NC– Christmas tree lots are popping up across the Queen City tonight.

Tree sellers tell WCCB Charlotte the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving are some of their busiest days.

Our dry weather could impact the quality of trees, so be careful when you’re choosing the right one.

You won’t see much difference in the prices this year, but farmers expect higher prices next year because of the drought and the wildfires.

Farmers in the high country grow about four million trees a year, worth about one billion dollars!
