UPDATE: CMPD has charged 27-year-old Wade Adam Mosley in the fatal Club Lust shooting that killed Gregory Spearman.
Mosley has been charged with murder.
UPDATE: The Victim has been identified as 34-year-old Gregory Spearman. No further details have been released at this time.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed at a north Charlotte club.
CMPD says they responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service at 3:27 a.m. at Club Lust, located at 124 Atando Avenue. When police arrived, they encountered a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was transported to Carolinas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of kin.
Detectives are canvassing the area for witnesses and the investigation is ongoing.
