Family Kicked Off Flight Because Of Service Dog

CHARLOTTE, NC– An Illinois woman says her family was kicked off a plane at Charlotte-Douglas Airport because of her son’s service dog.

“I said I understand and he is trained to go under the seat, but given his size, I don’t think he’s going to fit and she said exactly why you’re not riding on this plane.”

The family had to catch another flight back to Illinois.

American Airlines issued an apology and is investigating.
