3 Charlotte Men Charged For Lincoln County Vehicle Break-Ins And Thefts

LINCOLNTON, NC — Three Charlotte men connected to a string of vehicle break-ins back in October are now facing multiple charges.

According to officials, Sahier Richardson, 18, Juran Witherspoon, 18, and Derico Misenhaimer, 19, were involved in multiple vehicle break-ins and thefts throughout the area of Berkeley Road in Denver.

On October 12th deputies say a man on West Berkeley Road reported his white 2010 Chrysler van stolen along with multiple items out of another truck on the property. Reports say other residents on Berkeley Road and Natalie Commons Drive also reported vehicle break-ins.

Detectives later learned that the stolen van was used in a gun store break-in in Simpsonville, SC a short time later. After getting more information from two other CMPD investigations, deputies charged Richardson, Witherspoon, and Misenhaimer each with one felony count of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, six felony counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, three felony counts of Conspiracy, three misdemeanor counts of Larceny, one count of Injury to Personal Property, and one count of Attempted Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle.

Officials say warrants have been served on Misenhaimer who remains in jail in Iredell County on other charges, but Richardson and Witherspoon are still in federal custody in SC. Warrants have yet to be served on them.
