LINCOLNTON, NC — Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Vale woman.
Officials say 34-year-old Shelia Carver’s husband reported her missing from their home on Sandburg Trail in Vale, NC Wednesday around 9:15pm. He told deputies that she was home when he and his two children went to the Cherryville Walmart around 7pm, but when they returned she was gone.
Detectives say Carver is from the Philippines and speaks limited English. She is described as 5′ tall, about 90lbs, black hair, brown eyes, and wearing blue jeans, black and white jacket, and carrying a large gray purse. Officials say she may have friends in Statesville, Lincolnton, and Charlotte areas.
