Vigil Held for 7-Year-Old Salisbury Girl Shot and Killed While Sleeping

SALISBURY, NC – Family of a 7-year-old shot and killed in Salisbury says the violence has to stop.

A crowd gathered for a vigil in honor of the innocent victim caught in the line of fire.

“It took a 7-year-old child to call the city together,” explains A’yanna Allen’s grandmother Shirley Robinson.

Allen was shot and killed while sleeping in bed Sunday night.

The killer is still on the run.

Robinson was in the bed with the little girl when someone started shooting into this home on Harrel Street. Robinson was shot in the leg, and is still recovering.

She and others want someone to step forward and give them some answers.
