Investigators Tracking New Leads in Murder of 7-Year-Old Salisbury Girl
SALISBURY, NC – Investigators are chasing down new leads in the murder of a 7-year-old girl in Salisbury.
The new developments come just one day after family and friends laid A’yanna Allen to rest.
Investigators now confirm A’yana’s murder is connected to another homicide that happened earlier the same morning.
Savannah Queen is in the Rowan County Jail — accused of removing a gun the first murder scene, then lying about it to police.
Sharod Mathis died after being shot in the parking lot outside Firewater Lounge in Salisbury around 1:00am December 4th.
A few hours later, A’yanna Allen died after someone fired in to the house where she was sleeping.
ThatΒ second scene is less than two miles away on Harrel street.
Police have also tracked down a car investigators say was used to drive Mathis from the Firewater parking lot to the hospital.
