Suspended Crestdale Middle School Principal Resigns

CHARLOTTE, NC– WCCB Charlotte has confirmed that a middle school principal suspended nearly two months ago has resigned.

CMS sent a Connect-Ed message to Crestdale Middle School parents today.

It says Katie Richert has resigned and that Pam Espinosa will continue to serve as the Interim Principal until a permanent Principal is named.

Parents were originally told in September that Richert would be out of school for an indefinite period of time because of a sensitive matter.

The district has not released any more info on what the matter was.
