Hickory Police Seeking Assistance Locating Robbery Suspect

HICKORY, N.C. — Hickory Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Holiday Inn Express.

Reports say on Tuesday, December 14th, a man entered the Holiday Inn Express located at at 2250 US Hwy 70 SE in Hickory, and asked to rent a hotel room.

According to the the clerk, when he asked for identification, the suspect ran around the desk and claimed to have a knife, while demanding money.

The suspect took money from the register and fled the building, before leaving the scene in a light colored, four-door passenger car.

The suspect is reported as being a short, slim-build black male with long dreads, a thin mustache and hair under his lip.
