Statesville Robbery Suspect Arrested For Robbery In Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man wanted for a robbery in Statesville has been arrested for a similar crime in Raleigh.

On Sunday night, December 11th, Statesville Police Officers responded to a reported robbery at Fast Phil’s located at 309 Old Mocksville Hwy.

Reports indicate a white male robbed the cashier at gunpoint, and fled in a black pickup, with a possible out of state license plate.

Statesville Police Investigators learned that a man was arrested by the Raleigh, N.C. Police Department for a convenience store robbery that occurred on Wednesday, December 13th, around 11 p.m., in Raleigh NC.

Creel was identified as the suspect in the Statesville Fast Phil’s Citgo robbery, based off of the descriptions, the method used in the robbery, and photo identification.

Statesville Police obtained a warrant on Creel for Robbery with a dangerous weapon on Friday, December 16th.  Creel will be served on charges in Raleigh at the Wake County Detention Center.
