BOONE, N.C. — Police made an arrest after a man was stabbed in Boone. Investigators say they were called to a report of an assault with a knife on December 18th at around 1:48 pm.
When officers and medics arrived on the scene, on North Street, they located a male victim suffering from stab wounds to the leg. The victim was transported to Watauga Medical Center.
After investigation into the incident, George “Jordy” Foster, age 27, was arrested and charged with Felonious Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
Foster was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate where a $55,000 secured bond was set pending a January 17th appearance in court.
