Two Rock Hill Students Arrested After Planning To Commit Robbery And Murder
ROCK HILL, SC– Two Rock Hill high school students are now behind bars, accused of planning a to commit robbery and murder.
Police say one of the students brought an assault rifle to South Pointe High School.
Demarion McCrory and Brandon Scruggs are charged with criminal conspiracy. Mccrory is also facing weapons charges. Police arrested him on Friday after finding guns in his car in the student parking lot.
Investigators say McCrory, Scruggs, and an unidentified accomplice planned to burglarize a gun shop in Van Wyck.
They also planned to rob and kill someone they know.
