Citizen Complaints Lead To Three Arrests In Lincoln County
LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Three people have been arrested Β after an investigation into drug related activity in Lincoln County.
Lincoln County Sheriffs arrested 45-year-old George Rankin Hayes, 24-year-old Amber Denise Woody,and Β 52-year-old Angela Ruth Greason, after executing a search warrant at a residence on Cansler streetΒ in Vale, North Carolina, following several citizen complaints citing suspicious activity.
Detectives conducted surveillance of the residence and gathered evidence confirming the activity at the home was drug related before obtaining a search warrant on December 19th.
During a search of the residence, officers discoveredΒ methamphetamine, a handgun, various types of prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia consistent with the use and selling of drugs.
Hayes was charged with Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Schedule II ControlledSubstance, Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule IIIControlled Substance and Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.Β He was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.Β He received a$15,000 secured bond.
Woody was charged with Possession With Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance andΒ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.Β She received a $2,000 secured bond.
Greason was charged with Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.Β She received a $2,000 secured bond.
