Small Plane Traveling To Franklin, NC Crashes In Arkansas, 2 Killed

GURDON, AR — Local authorities say two people died Thursday after their plane crashed during a flight from Texas to North Carolina.

Officials say they located the wreckage of a Cessna 400 single-engine plane that went missing during it’s flight. Two people were on board, according to authorities, and both were killed. The tail number of the plane has not yet been released, but officials say it was traveling from McKinney, TX to Franklin, NC.

The FAA is sending a team to investigate the crash, and will be coordinating with the NTSB.
