Hickory Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Cubbard Express

HICKORY, NC — Police are looking for at least two suspects after the Cubbard Express on 2nd Street was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.

According to reports, two suspects entered the store around 11:20pm and demanded money from the clerk while holding her at gun point. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.

One suspect is described as a tall, slim, young black male wearing a pink Under Armour hoodie, dark pants with three white stripes down the outer legs, a light colored face mask, and a black book bag with green and possibly yellow highlights.

The second suspect is also described as a tall, slim, young black male wearing a black zip up hoodie, blue pants, and a black mask.

According to officials, there may be a third suspect involved that was seen walking through the rear parking lot of the store just before the robbery took place. He is described as a black male wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and a black hat.
