Hornets’ Zeller To Deliver Over 6,000 Pairs Of Socks To Salvation Army Shelter

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Hornets’ center Cody Zeller is delivering over 6,000 pairs of socks to the Salvation Army’s Center Of Hope Women and Children’s Shelter on Thursday.

The socks were donated as a part of the Cody Zeller sock Drive sponsored by Hanes.  Fans donated socks at Hornets home games from November 29 – December 23, and were entered into a contest to win tickets to the Hornets’ game against the Golden State Warriors on January 25.

In addition to attending the game, the contest winner, Toby Galloway, will get to have dinner in the Spectrum Arena’s Front Court Club, meet Zeller before the game, and receive an autographed jersey.

Zeller will be visiting The Salvation Army’s Center of Hope Women and Children’s Shelter located at 534 Spratt Street, in Charlotte, from 3-4 p.m., on Thursday, January 19.
