One Arrested In Connection To Rock Hill Triple Shooting

UPDATE: Rock Hill police say they have arrested 20-year-old Alexis Thomasson, of York, in connection to the fatal triple shooting that happened Wednesday evening.

Thomasson is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana 1st Office, Attempted Armed Robbery, and 2 counts of Criminal Conspiracy.

ROCK HILL, SC — Two people are dead and another victim has life threatening injuries after a triple shooting in Rock Hill Wednesday evening.

The shooting happened around 7pm on Blake Street, according to officials. Police say 26-year-old Jimmy Williamson was pronounced dead at the scene, and another male victim was flown to CMC Main with life threatening injuries.

According to police, the third male victim, 18-year-old Mekhi Rawlinson, showed up at Piedmont Medical Center a short time later but died him his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.  Detectives say there is also currently no motive or suspects in the shooting.
