UPDATE: Police have arrested and charged Martin Robinson, 18, with the December 7th murder of Thomas McDonald.
According to officials, Robinson was arrested in Memphis, and is currently being held at the Shelby County Jail in Tennessee.
CMPD has not given any time table on when Robinson is expected to return to Charlotte. Robinson is charged with Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

UPDATE: The victim in this shooting has been identified as 22-year-old Thomas McDonald. No arrests have been made at this time.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a person was fatally shot on Cross Point Circle off of Independence Boulevard Wednesday evening.
The shooting happened just after 6:30pm Wednesday. Officials say a man was taken to CMC with life-threatening injuries, but was later pronounced dead.
