IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Two people have been arrested after an investigation into drug activity in Iredell County.
Iredell County Sheriffs say they received information regarding the sale of “Crack Cocaine” and prescription pills at a residence in the Shinville Road area of Southern Iredell County in November of 2016.
Following an investigation, Terry Lamont Barringer, 58, and Lisa Bailey Trivette, 46, were identified as suspects.
Undercover detectives made multiple hand to hand sales of “Crack” and prescription medications, over the next three months, from Barringer and Trivette at their residence.
Investigators obtained and executed a search warrant for the residence on Friday January 27, 2017, and discovered Barringer with “Crack” on his person in a manner consistent with distribution. A further search revealed drug paraphernalia, cash, five rifles and a pistol.
Barringer was charged with four felony counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Substance, three felony counts of Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, three felony counts of Maintain a Vehicle or Dwelling or Place to Sell Controlled Substance and felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, he was given a 100,000.00 dollar secured bond.
Trivette was charged with two felony counts of Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, one felony count of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, one felony count of Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and one felony count of Maintain a Dwelling or Vehicle or Place to Sell Controlled Substance, she was given a 150,000.00 dollar secured bond.
