Driver Dies After Vehicle Overturns And Strikes Utility Pole In Chester County

CHESTER, S.C. – WCCB has identified the victim of the fatal crash as 36-year-old Billy Reynolds Jr.

CHESTER, S.C. – One person is dead after being ejected from the vehicle he or she was driving in Sunday morning.

Highway Patrol says the fatal single-vehicle accident happened this morning at 6:14 am on Old York Road nearly two miles south of Lowrys, S.C.

Highway Patrol says the driver was driving a 2006 Ford F-350 when the individual ran off the right side of Old York Road. Officials say the driver overturned and struck a utility pole.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Highway Patrol says the driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver has not been identified at this time.
