Police Make Arrest In 2015 Murder Case
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have charged a man for a murder that happened in 2015. Β Investigators say Gabriel Santiago killed his neighbor, 47-year-old Richard Hable.
Hable’s body was found buried under his mobile home on Bondhaven Drive in Charlotte. Β A woman called police and reported Hable missing in May of 2015.
At the time, officers determined there wasn’t any foul play and believed Hable was in a treatment facility. Β The same woman reported him missing again on August 20th. Β Police did not find his body until September 2015.
Santiago was arrested in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 8th. Β He will be extradited to Charlotte to face murder charges.
