3 Charged In Dallas Homicide Case

UPDATE: Police have arrested three suspects connected to a murder on January 31st.

Aaron Rainey and Jakevious Lynch have been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder, according to officials, and Amber Deaton has been charged with Accessory After The Fact. Dallas Police say Rainey and Deaton were both arrested in Sumter, SC.

The victim was identified as Ralpheal Kennedy.

UPDATE: Police now say the victim of Tuesday night’s shooting has died.

The victim was being treated for life threatening injuries at Caromont Regional Medical Facility after being shot on E. Carpenter St. Tuesday night, according to police, but was pronounced dead from his injuries Friday.

The victim’s name has not yet been released by officials. Police say they are still looking for suspects.

DALLAS, NC — Police are investigating after a person was shot Tuesday night.

According to officials, a male victim was shot around 7:15pm on East Carpenter Street and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say they found the man lying in the road when they arrived.

Police have the intersection of E. Carpenter and S. Davis Streets closed off due to the investigation.
