CHARLOTTE, NC — Officials with Charlotte Douglas International Airport say that a water main break has closed all bathrooms in concourses A, B, C, and D.

The break occurred during construction work early Thursday afternoon, according to reports. Officials say Charlotte Water has been called to the scene and are currently assessing the damage and working to repair the break.

The airport says passengers can use the Rental Car facility and Hourly Deck restrooms if they are in the pre-security area, and restrooms in concourse E are still functional for passengers who have gone through security.

Officials say flights are not being impacted due to the break, but some restaurants are closing.
