Carolina Women’s Conference Presents “Encouragement Cafe”

Carolina Women’s Conference will be hosting Encouragement Café, a one-day community wide event for women focusing on their spiritual relationship with God and designed to encourage, refresh, and renew the soul.  This event will be held from 9:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Lincoln County Citizen’s Center (115 West Main Street, Lincolnton NC)

Tickets are $15 for general admission, with an option to purchase a box lunch for just $7 catered by Court Street Grill.  Tickets are available at encouragementcafe.com and at itickets.com.

“This is more than just another good women’s event, this is an experience with women who understand the pressure that women feel every day. Encouragement Café is a community of women who have come together with the purpose of sharing hope, love and encouragement with others via radio, an online community, and live events,” said Annah Matthews, Events Coordinator for Encouragement Café Ministries. “In a time when our country is more divided than unified, and when people feel discouraged and unsettled, we want to share hope and encouragement outside of traditional churches and out to communities. Within just a few years we have begun to outgrow our venues and we are excited to expand to more cities and states.  We are so happy to bring this event to the Western Piedmont area. We want our local community of women to be able to share in the joy, laughter and encouragement this event brings.”

Carolina’s Women’s Conference was created from a community of women who are leaders at their churches and caught a vision to bring a conference to their area and to change lives by sharing the encouragement of hope through Christ. “One woman, one church, one station, one city, one state, one country at a time, we will lock arms and spread the encouraging hope of Jesus Christ across the globe,“ said Tonya Warlick, local community organizer and wife of Jaie Warlick, Pastor of Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church. “This is an event for every woman and every church in our region. Right now we have over 15 churches in our area coming together to promote and encourage women to join in a day of spiritual refreshment. We plan to have a sell-out crowd.“

Event attendees will be able to experience worship with recording artist Natasha Owens, known for singles such as “No One but You” and “We Will Rise.” She has toured with Jason Crabb, Point of Grace, Kutless, Mark Schultz, 7th Time Down and has performed at the Dove Awards. In addition, you will hear encouraging messages from a great line-up of speakers including on-air personalities Luann Prater from Joy FM’s Afternoon Joy Ride and Carol Davis from WMIT’s Midday Show, as well as Stephanie Davis, featured writer and speaker for Encouragement Café Ministries and Natasha Owens as she shares her story behind the music.
