CHARLOTTE, NC — A homicide investigation is underway in south Charlotte after police say one person was shot and killed.
Medic says they responded to a shooting call just before 6pm Tuesday on Oakcrest Place near Poindexter Drive. According to police, a male victim was found inside the home with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say the shooting appears to be drug related. Police are still investigating.
