Gastonia Police Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

GASTONIA, NC — Police are asking the public for help with identifying a suspect caught on surveillance after an armed robbery.

According to reports, two men met outside a convenience store around 7:30pm Tuesday on Garrison Boulevard and then walked to Lineberger Park. There, police say, one of the men robbed the other at gunpoint.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, no facial hair, young in age, and wearing a hoodie that is possibly red and black checkered.
