CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has arrested three suspects in connection to two robberies Thursday afternoon.
The first robbery occurred on Frontenac Avenue around 2:20pm, according to officials, when a suspect robbed the victim at gunpoint before taking off in a vehicle. The next incident reported was about 20 minutes later at a home on Audrey Street. Officials say multiple suspects were seen breaking into a home. According to reports, witness descriptions matched those given during the earlier robbery.
Officers in east Charlotte say they located the vehicle a short time later and were led on a pursuit when the suspects failed to stop. The chase ended near Country Club Drive when the suspects jumped out of the vehicle, ran, but were quickly apprehended. Officers ay they are not looking for any other suspects in these cases.
The names and charges for the suspects have not been released at this time.
