Lincoln County Drug Investigation Leads To Multiple Arrests And Charges
LINCOLNTON, NC — Deputies have arrested eight out of nine suspects charged with trafficking drugs in Lincoln County.
According to reports, the arrests were made following multiple investigations into the sales of methamphetamine and prescription pills throughout the area. Detectives worked undercover and used surveillance to gather evidence of the suspects conspiring with dealers and selling the products, officials say.
The following people have been arrested as of Friday:
Teresa Dellinger, 46, of Vale, NC, is charged with one felony count each of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.
Megan Campos, 35, of Vale, NC, is charged with two felony counts each of Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance.
Jerry Vancise, Jr., 40, of Vale, NC, is charged with one felony count each of Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
William Patterson, 46, of Cherryville, NC, is charged with three felony counts each of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.
Charlie Jolly, III, 33, of Gastonia, NC, is charged with two felony counts each of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. Jolly has also been charged with one felony count of Conspire to Sell Methamphetamine.
Ellis Shuler, 37, of Gastonia, NC, is charged with one felony count each of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Conspire to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Possession with Intent To Sell and Deliver a Counterfeit Controlled Substance.
Michele Vance, 30, of Cherryville, NC, is charged with one felony count Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and one misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Joshua Carpenter, 26, of Vale, NC, is charged with one felony count of Possession of Methamphetamine.
Courtney Helms, 31, of Lincolnton, NC, is charged with one felony count each of Conspire to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine. Officials are still trying to locate Helms for arrest.
