Police Make Arrest In Sunday Morning East Charlotte Shooting Case
UPDATE: Police have arrested Leon Truesdale, 35, for the Sunday morning shooting outside an east Charlotte 7-Eleven.
Truesdale turned himself in to detectives Monday, and was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for assistance identifying a man wanted for a violent assault early Sunday morning.
Police say on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at approximately 3:15 a.m., two individuals engaged in an argument outside of the 7-Eleven located in the 900 block of Eastway Drive.
According to reports, during the argument, the suspect shot the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported by medic to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male about five feet nine inches with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and jeans. The suspect fled the scene in a gold Cadillac.
