Police Make Arrest In Sunday Morning East Charlotte Shooting Case
UPDATE: Police have arrested Leon Truesdale, 35, for the Sunday morning shooting outside an east Charlotte 7-Eleven.
Truesdale turned himself in to detectives Monday, and was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for assistance identifying a man wanted for a violent assault early Sunday morning.
Police say on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at approximately 3:15 a.m., two individuals engaged in an argument outside of the 7-Eleven located in the 900 block of Eastway Drive.
According to reports, during the argument, the suspect shot the victim before fleeing the scene. Β The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported by medic to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male about five feet nine inches with a heavy build. Β He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and jeans. Β The suspect fled the scene in a gold Cadillac.
